The Office of Graduate Admissions at NYU Tisch School of the Arts has concluded its Information Sessions for the Graduate Film Program and for the Dramatic Writing Program for the 2013 term. For possible departmental visits scroll down to search availability.
The Graduate Acting Department will be holding two information sessions in December for their MFA program that will cover the curriculum, the admissions requirements & audition process. These sessions will be moderated by members of the Graduate Acting & Graduate Admissions staff and will include a Q&A. Cinema Studies - Applicants interested in visiting the department and speaking with an advisor should contact Kenneth Sweeney at 212-998-1600. Keep in mind that departmental visits are informational sessions that are scheduled by appointment and are not admissions interviews.

Dance - The Tisch Department of Dance is open for visits on Thursday mornings at 9:45am, *mid-September - early May. The visit consists of a tour of our dance facility with a department administrator and/or current students including an opportunity to ask questions. You will also be able to observe ballet and modern classes. The visit will last anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, depending on how long you observe classes. To be placed on the schedule, please contact the department 1-2 weeks in advance of your visit (212-998-1980). We regret that we cannot accommodate walk-in visits.

The Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program will be having its annual Open House on Tuesday, October 16th, 2012, from 7-9pm at 715 Broadway, 2nd floor.
If you are a composer or writer with an interest in creating musical theatre, we would welcome this chance to get to know you and to tell you about our Program. There will be music and refreshments.
